Media Film Showcase
Year 12 and 13 decided that we wanted to showcase our trailers to a big audience, so we organised a media showcase lunch time, which enabled all sixth form students, media students and all the teachers to come and watch all our trailers back to back. Year 13 acted as the event managers, whilst year 12 organised food and drink, and a programme with all our names and film titles. We distributed the films onto a projector. This proved as a success and we all received great feedback, which some of was recorded on camera. The following week, this event was mentioned in the school newsletter, saying how great our films were and how much effort we had put into them.

Marketing and Distribution
I found this article in a local newspaper, advertising a new soap and how the community is excited about the new show. It is a better idea to advertise in a smaller, local paper rather than a national brand like The Sun or Daily Mail, as it is less relevant to these peoples as the majority of them are not Welsh. If I was to advertise my own soap opera, I would advertise in local newspapers that are more relevant to my target audience, such as The Gazette, The Echo and The Diary. I am hoping to create my own newspaper article on the launch of 'The Vale'.
